And what a summer it turned out to be! Massive events ..... The pre cursor was The Royal Wedding Wills and Kate, a wonderfully happy occasion,  and then we really got going:  The Queens Jubilee, Tennis Grand Slam at Wimbledon and then, culminating with what turned out to be a terrific Olympics Games! The UK has been and still is buzzing and, still the sun shines! Just what we all needed. We are now working on making the Olympic legacy work, an ongoing task. Well, summer came and went. We had fine weather spanning a good few months, April to October really with many summer sun days when all I had on was shorts and a smile! The 4.30 dawn chorus, birds singing for all their worth, garden flowers begin their daily reach for the sky and buds on some trees still cracking open. The warm evenings spent in the garden under clear starlit sky's. Laughter with friendships strong, drinks cold and long. Driving in the countryside of the beaten track, roof open, windows down, wind in the hair fav music in the air! Much time abroad lover by my side.
